Why we give
Giving is an act of worship
Christians give not to earn God’s favor but because we have already received it. In Christ, God has given us more than we could ever repay, and our giving is a glad response to His grace.
Scripture calls believers to give regularly, generously, and cheerfully, to support those who labor in the Word and to care for the needs of the church (1 Corinthians 16:2; Galatians 6:6; 2 Corinthians 9:7). Your gifts support the preaching and teaching ministry of Rosedale Bible Church and the work of the gospel through this local church.
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.”2 Corinthians 8:9 (ESV)
“On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.”1 Corinthians 16:2 (ESV)
